The Itinerary
Day 1: Tashkent, Uzbekistan - Modern Parks & Ancient Markets
Arrival & Chorsu Bazaar
Start your journey at the iconic blue-domed Chorsu Bazaar. It is relatively easy to navigate with a stroller on the ground floor. Let the kids marvel at the mounds of colorful spices and taste fresh non (Uzbek bread) straight from the oven.
Tashkent Metro Tour
The Tashkent Metro is an underground museum. While most stations involve stairs, newer stations and the overground Circle Line are more accessible. Visit the Alisher Navoi station for its beautiful cotton-flower patterns that kids often find magical.
Tashkent City Park

Best Time to Visit Uzbekistan
The best times for a family trip are Spring (April to June) and Autumn (September to early November). During these months, the weather is mild and pleasant for walking. Summers can be intensely hot (above 40°C), which is difficult for young children, while Winters can be surprisingly cold and snowy.
Currency & Money
The local currency is the Uzbek Som (UZS). While credit cards are increasingly accepted in major hotels and upscale restaurants in Tashkent and Samarkand, Uzbekistan remains a cash-heavy society. Getting Around Uzbekistan
