The best time to visit Rio for families is between May and September. During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm (around 22°C to 26°C) and the humidity is lower, making outdoor exploration much more comfortable for children. Avoid the peak summer months of December to March if you are sensitive to extreme heat and heavy tropical rain showers.
Currency & Money
