Genting Highlands is a year-round destination thanks to its cool climate, typically ranging between 15°C and 25°C. The best time to visit is during the dry season from March to September. However, be mindful that Malaysian school holidays and long weekends can see massive crowds; for a more relaxed family experience, mid-week visits are highly recommended.
Currency & Money
The local currency is the Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). While credit cards and e-wallets (like GrabPay and Touch 'n Go) are universally accepted within Resorts World Genting, it is wise to carry some cash for smaller stalls in Gohtong Jaya or for tipping. Getting Around
The Awana SkyWay cable car system is the most efficient way to travel between the various levels of the highlands. Within the main resort complex, everything is connected via indoor walkways and elevators, making it very stroller-friendly.
