Best Time & Weather
The best time to visit Eger with a family is from late May to September. During these months, the weather is warm (20°C to 28°C), and all outdoor parks and thermal pools are fully operational. Autumn (October) is also beautiful due to the grape harvest in the valley, though it can be crisper. Winters are cold and can be snowy, which is atmospheric but makes stroller navigation more difficult.
Currency & Money
Hungary uses the Hungarian Forint (HUF).
