Dalat Railway Station
Visit one of the oldest railway stations in Vietnam. The vintage steam trains are a huge draw for children, and you can take a short 7km heritage train ride to Trai Mat.
Linh Phuoc Pagoda
Located near Trai Mat station, this 'Glass Pagoda' is made entirely from shards of porcelain and glass. Kids will be fascinated by the giant dragon sculpture made of beer bottles.
Hydrangea Gardens (Trai Mat)
Wander through fields of endless blue and purple blooms. The paths are flat and easy for a final scenic walk before heading back to the city.

Best Time & Weather
The best time to visit Dalat is from November to March, during the dry season. The weather is cool and crisp, perfect for outdoor activities. From April to October, you will encounter the rainy season; while showers are usually brief afternoon bursts, they can make some mountain paths slippery for little ones.
Currency & Money
The local currency is the Vietnamese Dong (VND). While hotels and larger restaurants in Dalat accept credit cards, you will need cash for the Night Market, smaller cafes, and Jeep rides at Lang Biang. Tipping is not mandatory but appreciated for tour guides and drivers.
