Start your trip at the world's largest Titanic visitor experience. The museum is fully accessible with lifts to every floor, making it easy for strollers. Kids will love the Shipyard Ride, a dark ride that takes you through the sounds and smells of the historic docks.
SS Nomadic
Located right outside the Titanic museum, this is the last remaining White Star Line ship. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than the main museum, allowing children to play at being captain on the upper decks while learning about the ship's role as a tender for the Titanic.
W5 Science Museum
Situated within the Odyssey Complex, this award-winning science center is a paradise for children. With over 250 interactive exhibits across several floors, including dedicated zones for under-8s, it provides a safe and stimulating environment for the little ones to explore.
Victoria Square
Head to this modern shopping and leisure complex for dinner. The 'Dome' provides a 360-degree view of the city, which is a great way to orient yourself. The center is fully accessible and features a wide variety of family-friendly restaurants like Pizza Express or Wagamama.
Day 2: Belfast, United Kingdom - Gardens and History
Botanic Gardens & Palm House

The best time to visit Belfast with a family is between May and September. During these months, the weather is relatively mild and the days are long, which is ideal for exploring the parks and maritime areas. July and August are the warmest but also the busiest months. Always pack a light waterproof jacket, as rain showers are common in Northern Ireland regardless of the season.
Currency & Money
Belfast uses the British Pound Sterling (GBP). Credit and debit cards are accepted almost everywhere, including small cafes and buses. Tipping is generally around 10-12% in restaurants if a service charge isn't already included. While cash is rarely required, having a few coins for small purchases or public restrooms can be helpful.
Getting Around
