Organic Lunch at a Local Estate

Signature Spa Ritual
Return to your resort base for a signature spa treatment. Opt for a Maldivian coconut scrub or a deep-tissue massage using locally sourced essential oils to rejuvenate after your island explorations.
Farewell Equator Cocktails
Toast to the end of your Addu journey with signature cocktails at a pier-side lounge. Watch the sky turn purple over the Indian Ocean as you reflect on your southern Maldivian adventure.
Best Time & Weather
Addu City is best visited during the dry season from December to April, when the seas are calm and the visibility for diving is at its peak. Since Addu is south of the equator, it experiences slightly different weather patterns than Malé, often remaining sunnier when the northern atolls are rainy. Temperatures remain a steady 28°C to 30°C (82°F to 86°F) year-round.
Currency & Money
The local currency is the Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), but US Dollars are widely accepted in all luxury establishments and resorts. Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) are the standard for all major transactions. Tipping is appreciated for exceptional service; a standard of 10% is often already included in bills, but an extra $5-$10 for guides and boat crews is a gracious gesture.
Getting Around
The primary islands of Addu are connected by a 16km causeway, the longest in the Maldives. For luxury travelers, private car transfers or high-end bicycle rentals are the best way to move between Gan, Feydhoo, Maradhoo, and Hithadhoo. Speedboat charters are necessary for reaching Meedhoo and Hulhudhoo, while Gan International Airport serves as the main gateway for domestic flights and private jets.
